Chemistry on Khan Academy: Did you know that everything is made out of chemicals? Chemistry is the study of matter: its composition, properties, and reactivity. This material roughly covers a first-year high school or college course, and a good understanding of algebra is helpful.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

the angular quantum number can also be called Azimuthal quantum number. For anyone studying for mcats and things like that, I'm pretty sure that is the word used

I swear by god, it took 3 hours for the professor to explain this in class and I never understood it. 12 minutes on here, and I got it. Understood. College is truly just for the credential.

I am so happy this video exists, because my chemistry teacher doesn't even teach!!! I mean why even have teachers if they don't teach!?

I'm getting the feeling that teachers either don't understand the material they are teaching or purposefully holding back because they know there are videos out there that will do their job for them.

I watched this when I was a sophomore in general chemistry. As a junior in AP chem I finally found it, thank God. Same teacher from last year and barely just glazed over it.

My professor is of a foreign origin and is very difficult to understand. you always help me understand the things that aren't making sense, especially since i am deployed and dont have tutors access. You're the real MVP!
