Next time, can you talk how you can gently engage the clutch when down-shifting? And in doing so, does it cause undue wear and tear on the clutch?

I’ve been kind of practicing rev matching by pressing down (not half pressing but fully pressing down) on the back pedal and rev the engine then release the pedal to down shift. So have I just been abusing my bike?

For those with a height of 185 to 200 cm, that is too tall to ride a small motorbike

Hello bro.... Do you mean if am going down a slope, and i intend going down silently, then assuming my gear is right at gear 4, then i press my front gear lever down.... With that also be likened as burning my clutch?

Are the clutch plates of semi-automatic motorcycle same with the manual? I have a semi-automatic Kawasaki Z125 and plan to order heavy duty clutch plates that riders use on their manual Z125 Pro. Very informative video. Was trying to pop my Z125 to no success. :)

I, ve got a brand new 2025 Super cub 125 and the gear changes are usually tight, I found to change from 2nd to third you have to be revving the engine quite a bit. Any way it came to its first service at Honda and I explained it to them and they said they needed to take the cover off to check its ok. After a couple of hours they told me the bike was ready to pick up and the clutch and gear change was better now. OMG it felt worse, as soon as I engaged into first the bike shot forward about a foot and on every gear change it feels like there is no slack at all. When changing down it simply changes immediately with zero slack, lurching. They don't seem to understand how it works and its as if they have over tightened something in the gearbox. Is this ok, will it eventually slacken off.? I think I need a second opinion, I, ve had these bikes in the past and they never felt so tight. Like where you say if you hover your foot on the lever gear changer you burn the clutch, this has zero slack between the gears, as soon as you push with your foot, the bike lurches forward into the next gear.

What if a semi isn't disengaging the clutch but does change gears? My bike is hard to shift. Ithink it's not disengaging totally or at all.

Is it bad to come to a full stop in third gear, stay in third gear, then take off? And also can you downshift on these?

Will powershifting (shifting without letting go of gas) on these semi auto bikes like the Honda blade shown in the video, cause damage to the clutch or machine?

Those heal toe shifters are very unpopular in the USA.

This moped type motorcycle only in southeast asian market, small easy to ride in city, it’s evolution from honda cub c70 year by year until today you can found 100cc to 150cc, install basket on it, ride, shopping and buy groceries 😂

Does downshifting from gear 5 to 2 slowly, counts as engine braking OR, it will burn my clutch faster??
