✅ AT&T Internet Air 5G Home Internet Service - 2 Months In

I've lived with this AT&T Internet Air along side my Verizon and T-Mobile 5G Home Internet for a few months. Here's my observations so far. This is AT&T's Internet Air CGW450 gateway. This is great for rural customers who have few other options for broadband internet, especially ones with no data caps or throttling based on data usage. I plan to do many more videos on this service so stay tuned!

I have been using AT&T Internet Air for approximately 2 months and I love it. Especially the price ($35) 😂. When I initially signed up I was getting around 220/16, however my most recent speed tests I have been getting 475/13. No issues with gaming/streaming/etc. My only issue would probably be the size of the egg. This thing is huge - lol.

After watching this video I decided to get AT&T Air. Speeds was great for about 2 weeks then I was barely getting 30 megabits. so I canceled it went to UPS Store drop off equipment got the receipt, I returned equipment November 2nd and it was due December 11th so that was a month and two weeks. I'm being charged $215 for non return of equipment NOW!!! I called AT&T several times in the last 3 weeks and nothing has been done about it.

Do not use AT&T... there's tons of Stories on Reddit including two local news channels that did stories about AT&T ripping customers off for non equipment returns

I’m getting almost 800 down and 80-100 upload with this internet, started off limited to around 350 down until the router got a firmware update one night at the start of October that seemed to unlock full speed on my tower to me. I’m less than 200 ft from the tower in Detroit Michigan. Pings are 40-60 constantly wish they’d drop them a bit I get 15ms on my AT&T cell phone.

Hey there! Have you tried getting the Att internet air service to work on the chester cheetah? Im having issues trying to get my ATT air sim to work on it, as I get the "cable unplugged" error.

Thank you for the update. Would you happen to know how I would be able to change the time? It shows 4hrs earlier then it is. Ex: It's 10:21 and it shows 6:21.

ok, getting it this week. Hope is stable. Have AT&T now with the high speed fiber lines. Very fast NO ISSUES. Moving and hoping this is the same or better. Will see. thanks for the review. Just learning of this tech.

Im literally 0.35 miles from our 5g tower AT&T we can literally see the tower from our window. With that being stated I am curious through ethernet if I would get good speeds. My phone does up to 250+ down and as much as 50+ up... also we are in a rural area with mostly woods around.

Can you hookup External Antenna’s? Have you dissected it yet to see if it’s possible?

i am using it too, i connect it with a wire. But my latency is really high. Is there any setting or update can improve it? my speed is fast enough.

Thank you for the video. I received the "egg" but the display clock is off. Do not see any option to access settings to change it. Any thoughts on how to adjust the clock. I do have the mobile app. Thanks

I used this to replace Hughesnet at family's place by Rogers City. ATT has decent coverage up there compared to Verizon and it worked pretty well. 30-40 down/ 3-6 up. Way better than Hughesnet which was 3/3 max.

Hey nater love the videos. I do have one question. I received the att air today and got everything hooked up, i live in a small town in Oklahoma. My download and upload speeds are fantastic (350 down, 25-30 up) but my pings is crazy high 100ms or more. I noticed in the speed tests its pinging me to Chicago, would you have any idea how to change that?

Hey man went to ATT last week and they said ATT Air Fi would work at my address. Didn't get the egg i got the other white router. Plugged it up last night and theres a total of 4 green bars. I'm only getting 2 green bars! Is that good enough for online gaming and is it good enough in general???
