AT&T now offers a new device for its Internet Air service. What do you think of this?

I had an AT&T tech come out to the house last Friday, July 28, 2023 to convert my old DSL Extreme 6.0Mbps service to a new service the AT&T tech called Fiber300, the 300 I was told was 300Mbps. The tech was here alone for almost 4 hours last week but there were no cables buried underground on my property. Everything was connected to a utility pole directly across the street from my house and from there everything ran back across the street to my house and was connected to a new box on the west end of my house next to my electric meter box, my new AT&T phone box and next to the new AT&T phone box was my cable TV box which is with Sparklight Cable. I don't notice any off the charts increase in my internet speed going from DSL 6.0Mbps to my new internet service which is AT&T Fiber 300Mbps. Does what I've just described sound like it's AT&T fiber or AT&T fiber in the air service? The new fiber service will cost me $60.00 a month. My old DSL 6.0Mbps service had been costing me $59.00 a month.

Hopefully, will become available for AT&T customers(me too) who want to combine it with their wireless service. Right now, I have T Mobile Home Internet Service but nice if possible to combine into one package.

September 01 2023 spending more than 3 hours, calling several times no support, having a hard time setting up, offering an "appoiment" next day.☠☠

AT&T needs to get their act together!! I tried to enroll yesterday online and it wouldn't let me do it so I called the 855 number to speak to a tech person and wasted over 30 minutes talking with them and they were unable to enroll me in the new plan. The tech said they would work on it and call me back probably by Tuesday!

They don't have their act together, I needed tech help setting it up was transferred 4 times and finally told the techs weren't equipped to give help online and to go to their website. I'm cancelling that crap!!
