How to Grow Shiitake Mushrooms from Plugs

This video is all about growing shiitake mushrooms from plugs. Turns out you can add wooden dowels with shiitake mycelium on it and they'll grow on downed oak branches. We did this experiment in the backyard and it had over 5 years of flushes!

Please be careful with mushrooms; even if they are not poisonous, they still can have carcinogenic substances that can affect someone like your kid much later in life. :(
I trust you did your research well, but giving you this warning nonetheless, because I myself am quite paranoid when it comes to mushrooms... :-/
