Kolkata woman PGT doctor murder case: Security beefed up outside RG Kar Medical College and Hospital

Kolkata: Security has been beefed up outside Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital where a woman post-graduate trainee (PGT) doctor was found dead after she was allegedly raped, on August 09. A nationwide protest has erupted demanding justice for the woman doctor. According to IMA, the heinous crime occurred in the seminar hall on the third floor of the campus. The death of the second-year medical student at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Friday morning has sparked a political storm in West Bengal. Earlier, a group of students organized a candlelight march in the city following the discovery of the postgraduate trainee doctor's body.
