Perfect analysis ! I also made up to these tips myself while watching a lot of Zen replays but I add one thing : these things ARE mechanics. Something people always got wrong about the game, is that recoveries, car control, simple shots, gamesense are also mechanics of the game. So, no, it's not "without mechanics" but I understand why you said it like that, to no scare players who want to try BUT guys listen this : these tips are useful af but remember that they are still things to train hardly to become good with it. Don't neglige training for some "invisible" mechanics like gamesense and boost management/recovery 😉

I think one other thing Zen does really well, is his ability to utilise his teammates for effective finishes. So have strong mechanics is good but knowing when to use your mechanics and when to use your teammates most important!

one of the big things i learned from watching Zen (or any pros for that matter) is to not commit on awkward balls. a lot of the time he's just rotating back and letting his teammates handle the balls he doesn't have a good challenge on
