BAKED BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER BITES
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets (about 8 cups)
1 cup of white whole wheat flour
1 cup water
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup hot sauce (I used Franks)
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 450°F.

In a large bowl, combine flour, water, salt, and garlic powder and stir until smooth. Add in cauliflower and stir gently until florets are evenly coated with batter.

Arrange cauliflower in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet that has been coated with some cooking spray. Be sure the pan is not over crowded (use two pans if needed). Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.

In a separate bowl combine hot sauce and melted butter. Pour evenly over the cauliflower and gently toss until evenly coated.

Pop bake in the oven for another 10 minutes or until the cauliflower begins to crisp up. Serve with carrots, celery and blue cheese dressing.

Serves 8.

I ve made these, and they are delicious. My son who hates cauliflower ate and enjoyed these. And asked me to make them another night ! I call that a great success .

My kids love Buffalo chicken Wings.. so I tried this for a healthy version and would you believe they loved it and actually asked me to make again. So Moms give it a try with kids too.

That's yum 😋. On the flour - a combination of chickpea and any kind of rice flours usually work great for me for similar recipes. You can also add a couple tbsp. corn starch for a super crunchy bite

if you freeze the cauliflour with batter on and put them direct in the over without defrosting
they end up super crispy

Omg awesome can't wait to try it.you should try it with a cauliflower patty (just cut the head in half and slice it in slices) and get a bun and add whatever toppings and condiments and pile it up. I'm a vegetarian so I've did it before but never made the bites like this. But on the burger I used ranch, with lettuce, onion, tomato with baked homemade fries . You should do that as a clean & delicious version for a lunch or light dinner.

Made these on Superbowl Sunday - they are CRAZY DELICIOUS! Amazing how cauliflower florets can take on the texture and taste of actual chicken wings - without the guilt! So good! Your recipes rock Dani! Thanks so much and keep them coming.

1 tsp Paprika and sprinkled Cayenne pepper are not listed in the description box but she added them at around 3:30.

Thank you so much for this tasty cauliflower recipe. I don't really like cauliflower but I made this recipe and ate the whole pan by myself. It was really good. Cauliflower is now my new best friend.

watching this just now. In India we have cauliflower pakora. It uses chickpea flour (besan). Its gluten free and has a delicious nutty flavor. Could be baked or fried. I think that would be a great combination with the buffalo sauce. Will definitely try this. Thanks for the recipe.
