Here is what you'll need!

Buffalo Cauliflower
Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS
1 head of cauliflower
¾ cup flour
¾ cup milk/milk alternative
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
¼ cup buffalo/hot sauce
2 tablespoon coconut oil/vegetable oil
1 tablespoon honey

PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 450˚F (230˚C).
2. Break the head of cauliflower into florets, about 1½-inch wide.
3. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and milk, and stir until well-combined.
4. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter, making sure each piece is evenly coated.
5. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
6. In a small mixing bowl, combine the hot sauce, vegetable oil, and honey, and stir until evenly combined.
7. Brush the hot sauce mixture on cauliflower and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
8. Enjoy!

I've made this a lot before this video came out. I find it's best to let the florets sit on a wire rack after you have battered them BEFORE putting them in the oven. Otherwise the excess batter will pool around the florets on the baking sheet and make them clump together. Other than that, this is actually a really yummy snack!

I used corn starch which is half of what flour calls for and it came out crispier! Also substitute the oil for butter

I just made them and took them out of the oven. I promise I'm in heaven. They are so freaking good. The smell alone while they were in the oven.I thought I would pass out lol. this will be my new go to.

I’ve been making Buffalo cauliflower for a few years now since before I saw this video and I tried this recipe tonight and it was so good. I used to just bread mine but I like this batter better.

followed this exactly for my mom and myself and it came out SOOO I was not sure how I'd like it because I never ever eat cauliflower but I love buffalo sauce, so this was a great. My mom doesn't eat meat so when we want to share a meal together or an appetizer for her gatherings this is such a great recipe. Thank you!!!

I made this recipe last night and it was awesome! The only change I made was to add a little chili powder to the base coating. I also likely cooked this for two minutes longer than the suggested time prior to adding the hot sauce. Loved it!

I have gone vegetarian over 1 month ago and I will definitely consider this as an alternative to chicken wings. Thank you so much for giving vegetarian or vegan people hope.

I tried this and fried per the America's Test Kitchen recipe and the batter came off. It still tasted good, but the aesthetics weren't there. I'm going to try this via the oven as you mentioned.
