How to RESET SOFTWARE? - BMW E90 E91 E92 E93

In this video I'm going to show you how to reset software (reset board computer).

This is awesome. The goal for me was that I unplugged my car to go on vacation. When I restarted the car 3.5 months later there was a battery discharge warning. Resetting the electronics fixes that. You need to press and hold that button obviously..but also you need to turn the button to the right to get to the next sub-menu sometimes.

I have an rdc error but all the sensors and rdc module are fine.if i hit softwere reset will the error go away? What else would it change?i had an infotainment update a while ago...will it go back to the old one?

'07 x3, no actual shorts in questioned circuits.

I'm having an electronic fault. I was told my cluster may be going bad. Could resetting the software fix that issue? Is there any value in removing cluster, verifying a good connection and putting cluster back in?
