Few #aircraft put on an aerial demonstration quite like the #usairforce's premiere fighter, the Lockheed Martin #f22raptor.

The #airforce's F-22 Raptor Demo Team performed at the MCAS Miramar #airshow one weekend in late September 2024 and then came to the FPP studios the following Monday. Hear from the demonstration #pilot and senior enlisted leader what it is like to travel to locations far and wide to put on this amazing performance--including a play-by-play of each aerial maneuver.

I was at an airshow at MCAS Cherry Point and had the opportunity to see this team out on their own time eating in a seafood restaurant near Atlantic Beach. This team is very impressive and accommodating. Obviously, all eyes were on them as they were in their team uniforms. It looked as if they were having dinner with teammates and even their families. I didn't matter who interrupted their dinner, they stopped what they were doing and spoke to each and every person that approached them; sometimes taking 20 minutes or longer to make their visitor feel like they were the only one that mattered. Extremely impressed by their skill, but more importantly, their humbleness and love for their fans.

Absolutely love the airshows at Point Mugo. I have photos I've taken of A-4s and F-14s shooting missiles out towards the ocean back in the 70s. They are hanging in my office to this day. My uncle flew A-4s in Vietnam and would get us free passes. One year the SR-71 made a appearance, wow what a show stopper that was at the time. 🍻

Love the very first flight scene in Intro @0:02 and @ 3:25. That was from London, Ontario last year our lovely DRIVE IN style airshow as you can see all the parked vehicles on the tarmac etc, it was a low show all 3 days and Razz absolutely tore up the vapors like I haven't seen before.
