Make old PRINTERS work again. How to install/setup Old printer drivers on Windows 11, windows 10.

Windows 11 old printer driver setup or discontinued driver. Such as Hp laserjet, Epson, Brother, Canon, Samsung and etc. Laser jet, Inkjet, dot matrix.
The simplest possible solution to install printer drivers for old printers without software is possible under Windows 10 by the existing standard printer driver package, thus can be used many other old printers even under Windows easily. Whether it's a simple Windows 10 desktop, tablet, Surface Pro / Go, or even a server operating system. It has been tested on all and successfully verified

If you have your printer connected via usb, instead of choosing port 1, scroll down until it says USB and then click next and choose windows update. It takes a while to load the list of printers, but it should list yours.

Thank you!! This worked for my old Brother MFC-465CN which Brother no longer supports in Windows 11. I used the last option "Add printer with manual settings, " and Windows did find a driver for it to install. Thanks again!

I am trying to add my HP Deskjet F4200 to WIndows 11. When I RUN: shell:PrintersFolder I only see Microsoft Print to PDF and OneNote (Desktop) - not any of the other 5 that show up on your video. When I go to Add Printer (and my printer is powered on and connected via USB) it searches for a while and then says No devices found. The printer and cable are good as I still use it on another Windows 10 system. Thanks!

Doesn't work for my Canon 4010 on Win10... It doesn't show among old printers in the beginning... :(

Good video but sadly none of it worked. I made sure my printer USB/Pwr cable were plugged in and ran "Driver Booster" from IObit labs (they also make a great system cleaner called Advanced System Care) and it said my printer driver was out of date and updated it. Rebooted computer and tried to print and no problem at all. Sadly, I lost all the awesome scanner capabilities but am able to print and make copies and my remaining 10 cartridges of ink won't be wasted.
