This brand new gaming PC is in my repair shop because it keeps crashing with a BSOD. Turns out the computer has a bad stick of RAM. Troubleshooting your tech may be intimidating but it isn't difficult, and this customer could have fixed their own gaming desktop themselves at home and saved some money. The process of elimination is a critical skill to have with your technology, from a car to a laptop!

That misplugged EPS connector actually should work perfectly well.
Even if you plug only half of the 4+4 connector then it still can carry more than enough current for this measly CPU that can be cooled with a measly stock cooler.
