It’s the forgotten attribute of God in the world today unfortunately.😞
When people preach the Gospel without telling the person what they are getting saved from, it’s not the gospel at all, and nobody comes to true faith and repentance after hearing it!

Jerusalem: (in Hebrew: yerushalaim) "yeru" means: flow, like a river flowing out of a hand or finger, in the sense of POINTING out the way one should go.

Shalayim: is from the word shalam: PEACE/complete and whole.

Together they mean: POINTING THE WAY TO PEACE OR COMPLETENESS...

Such a catch 22, no? Man is so corrupt that the mercy and patience of God runs the risk of humanity intensifying the pursuit of sin because the Ax, so to speak, has not fallen after X, Y or z. How often does God say through the prophets…”they said God does not see. He will not punish”. Seemingly oblivious to the fact that they are actually sinning under the mercy and patience of a holy God seemingly unaware that there is a end date to that mercy and patience. Or shall we say that mercy will manifest by way of judgement
