Spotted hyenas certainly eat the remains of other large carnivores, including lions. Hyenas also kill and eat lion cubs. The Google answer shown in the video is in reference to Hyenas potentially scavenging from lions’ kills- not eating lions themselves. Hyenas kill a vast majority of their own prey, whereas lions enjoy bullying other carnivores away from carcasses (cheetahs, leopards, etc). The skull held by Scar is a cercopithecine primate (like Rafiki, a mandrill, the largest cercopithecine. The skull is probably from an olive baboon). We do not know what happened to Mufasa’s body in The Lion King 1994, as no reference is made to it in the film. Scar did not consume Mufasa. The entire reason Scar did not kill Simba himself is because the lionesses would certainly be able to smell it on him. God Bless.

Actually, I have a theory that is mulch darker, that skull isn’t quite lion sized but it is perfect baboon size, if you watch casual geographic’s vid on this it gets darker.
