The book of Enoch is focused on what went wrong in great detail. Other books, such as those in the Bible, focus on how things get put on track.

Don't forget the book also hints at how dinosaurs were created. It mentions how the Nephilum and the fallen angels were also "sinning against" all the beasts and animals of the earth, and if the fallen angels created giants by breeding with women, we can glean that if they did the same thing with animals, it would have created dinosaurs and sirens and all kinds of other folklore creatures. This explains why dinosaurs were never mentioned on the ark. It's because they were not God creation, but a corruption of it.

My favorite part of the book of Enoch is where it mentions the Son of Man just like in Daniel 7:13-14
9. And trouble shall seize them, when they shall behold this Son of woman sitting upon the throne of his glory.

10. Then shall the kings, the princes, and all who possess the earth, glorify him who has dominion over all things, him who was concealed; for from the beginning the Son of man existed in secret, whom the Most High preserved in the presence of his power, and revealed to the elect.

11. He shall sow the congregation of the saints, and of the elect; and all the elect shall stand before him in that day.

12. All the kings, the princes, the exalted, and those who rule over the earth, shall fall down on their faces before him, and shall worship him.

13. They shall fix their hopes on this Son of man, shall pray to him, and petition him for mercy.

I've read a translation of the Book of Enoch when I was about 23 years old (I'm now 51). Besides the Book of Revelations, this has to be the most frightening book in the Scriptures.
