I've been driving my '24 M3P for a month now, replacing my older '20 M3P, and must say it was definitely worth the upgrade! This is coming from someone who put 90K on my last M3P, so I've had plenty of time in the last iteration of this vehicle and already have almost 4K on my new '24 M3P. 100% quieter, better stereo, dragy verified 2.93s run on a "track", more comfortable and better handling drive, better fit and finish, better interior period, including the light strip, which makes you feel like your in a cockpit, better headlights, better styling, and overall just better :) You will get used to the blinker buttons, even though I still prefer normal stalks, and the shifting on the screen is not bad unless you're doing any tight 3 point turns, then it's annoying. Thankfully, I've not had the squeaky armrest, but instead had a rattle coming from the steering wheel, which was determined to be a loose screw at the base of the plastic, piece which was fixed along with sound deadening tape added to the seatbelt rattle I had too. Overall, buy this car if you're in the market for a 50K sedan.

I´ve been driving my M3H LR since the end of February and I can comfortably say I´m never going back to stalks again. In my opinion the made the right call on that one. And for the record, I´m driving roundabouts daliy, and yes, i use my turnsignals all the time. Its so easy and you get used to it in like a day.

Have had mine for 45 days. Coming from a Mercedes c class. I'll never look back.

I considered the M3P while waiting for my LR AWD, but ultimately decided against it due to the wheels. Had an all season tire been an option I would have gone with the performance. You don't live in an area where 4 season's exist, for those of us who do, we need all season. Im not intrested in buying another set of rims and tires just so I can drive in the winter.
The LR AWD is amazing. I love driving my car so much. Picked mine up back in june 2024. The FSD you stated is a game changer, I completely agree. Short trips or long trips...it makes traveling a joy. It's has more speed and acceleration than most people need..no joke. It's very quiet. Smooth..yet firm handling with enough cushion that bumps don't really matter.
The fit and finish on mine was very very good. I had a ppf put on the front end and the installer was suprized how tight all the seams were. My car did have the windshield washer pump disconnected...mobile service corrected that for free. That was it. I might be unique, but Id definitely recommend the AWD to future buyers in 4 season areas.
I would imagine the 2025 Model Y AWD will be equally wonderful. If you get one I look foward to watching your video.

I have the same car, love it, especially coming from a 2018 LR RWD Model 3. I too had the creaking armrest and mostly fixed it myself by opening it up and putting foam pads in the center. I did notice an oil smell in my garage after a few weeks but didn’t see any leaks, so when I took it in for it’s post delivery adjustments I asked them to check the rear drive for leaks. At first they didn’t think this was a thing, but then upon inspection they did indeed notice oil residue present, turns out the oil pump was leaking, they cleaned it up and replaced the pump, all good so far. I haven’t tracked it, just a few spirited launches and daily drives. So do keep an eye… or sniff for it.

I switched from a 2020 M3 AWD LR to the 2024 M3 LE RWD. It is worth the upgrade. Plus my FSD transferred over for free!

when/if getting wheels aligned request Rear Drive Assembly cover be inspected for oil

there is also assembly grease that is not the Breather leaking

from what can evaluate, all have this faulty design, but few will leak as it requires significant lateral acceleration, that few do often

Absolutely stunning car 🚘 Love my LR M3, but the Performance is my ultimate goal ❤

An M3 competition may have an 85k sticker price but realistically you will be paying way more than that. My local bmw dealer had one with 125k price with dealer required upcharges and add ons. ( 15k dealer markup, 6k ppf etc etc )

I like this car, no stalks and no HUD are almost a deal breaker!

I noticed the performance and long range provide the same range. The difference is the tire size. Once you add the larger tires to the long range it drops the range to the same as the performance.

Just swap in the LR wheels and tires and you'll get within 1-2 miles of LR range, much more comfortable ride and only give up slightly on sharp handling and looks.

Congrats Ryan. IMO.. this is Tesla’s best car for the buck. Car is amazing, but the blinkers are absolutely horrible, I can attest to this. I been following you since 2018 and I know you have a lot of followers. Im glad you heard about the TSB (Tesla Service Bulletin) about the rear drive shaft oil leaking on the 2024 M3P. Tesla finally has a solution to fix this issue, but it seems like some type of MacGyver fixing concoction. Hopefully you can do a future video on this with better news. More Tesla owners should know about this. It’s definitely not assembly grease like I was told. The TSB proves there’s an issue.

I'd rather give up the rear entertainment screen but keep the turn and gear stalks if Tesla is looking to cut costs.

Last week I test driven the M3P and like how it’s faster than my standard Model 3. Very great video review.
