Must be utterly frustrating for Ronaldo to always hear comments about Messi and Barcelona. It's almost portrayed as if Real Madrid and Ronaldo are the villians in the football world; whereas, Messi and Barcelona are the superheroes. I'm not even a Ronaldo fan, but just give the dude a break. He's not as gifted as Messi but he's been giving Messi a run for his money for the past 7 years or so...

I am barca fan but the amount of hate towards ronaldo is very unreasonable. He is just a human being and now 31. He can't perform like what he used to 3-4 seasons ago and what he has achieved is only possible by very few in football history. Respect this guy.

Ronaldo had a rough childhood. Father worked at the locker rooms where Christiano used to play, then later on he died from alcohol addiction and it hit Christiano badly. Of course he is enjoying the luxury he worked so hard for, but that was not it for him, this is just him getting payed for his services. He wanted to be the best in the world by the time he retired, and most players just retire early after winning a few titles and made good money but this guy is different. I think he will be like Maldini, 40 and still killing it.
