I think it depends on who you prefer and how you play in real life. If you’re a striker you wouldn’t really want to play with Ronaldo you’d prefer Messi to set you up, whereas a midfielder or winger would maybe prefer Ronaldo because you have a target for your passes into the box. Has to be Messi for me tho.

It does depend on a lot of things. Messi is defo better as an all round player, but prime CR7 was so unbelievably clutch- always found a way to put the ball into the net.

BUT- CR7 can only do that if the rest of the team is top tier and can create the chances for him. So if you're talking Real Madrid, I'd put CR7 in there. If you're talking Crystal Palace, I would put Messi in there.

I love the fact everyone is so quick to change their view on ronaldo so fast, like because messi has won the world cup and ronaldo hasn’t makes people seem to automatically forget everything ronaldo has done in the sport of football. Like i understand also the fact people don’t respect ronaldo as much as they say going to Saudi Arabia means he chose “passion over money” but this isn’t really the case. Ronaldo has achieved everything in her s career apart from a world cup trophy but he’s at an age where he won’t have another world cup and people have such high expectations on him to go to a club in europe such as sporting who play UCL football but he has no reason to stay in europe there is no more world cup for him he doesn’t even get payed for portugal so no one should be mad at him for not saying in europe. Put some more respect on the man’s name, most footballs would have retired by his age.
