I could read that fast, but I can’t manage to stop subvocalizing. I still had to say them to myself.

Subvocalizing helps with interpreting data and remembering what you read

Tips: you can also use a pencil it helps you read faster (move your pencil fast, it helps it train your eyes) also try to read 2-3 words at a time, it also increseas the speed.
Remember, you dont have to remember every single detail you read :)

This is exactly what I do and you are not wrong! I usually finish reading hundreds of pages easily using this technique.

This technique will work well with text books but if your using report cooks I suggest you think about it as a story as you read along and picture the scene in your head
