What's the difference for suffering for doing good, and suffering for doing evil?

Knowing whether to humbly submit to suffering because it is the will of God or whether to fight it by faith, is not easily understood.
Knowing Jesus became a curse for us is the key to finding the right balance in suffering...
1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God should so will, that ye suffer for well-doing than for evil-doing.
In 2 Co. 12:7-10, the scriptures say that the thorn in Paul's flesh was a messenger of Satan that was used to bring Paul to a place of weakness.
It was in weakness, he found the power of God. Paul lists his circumstances where he was in places of weakness in 2 Co. 11:23-28. The suffering and persecutions that Paul endured brought him to a place of weakness; It was in this place of weakness that the Lord delivered him out of them all (2 Ti. 3:10-12).
God brings us into situations where we are weak, meaning we have come into a circumstance that's beyond our control so we will find His power. The bible teaches that it is better to suffer for doing good than as an evildoer.
1 Peter 4:15 For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a meddler in other men’s matters:
