3 Things to know about the Redskins logo coming back

5 years ago, nobody would build a stadium because of the use of the Native American logo (and name). Now, the ability to build a stadium is being blocked because the team refuses to use the logo!

Not necessarily a Redskins fan, being from the west coast, but always respected the team, and logo.👍

I think that if the name and logo come back...that the Redskins will get a very warm and respectful welcome back, at every away game that they play.
True fans know and appreciate the tradition of the Redskins.

My goodness sometimes americans are too complicated, the old logo and old name doesn't offend anyone, what is actually offensive is trying to vanish the whole thing like it doesn't exist, vanish aunt jemima, both exist, both are cool and there is no offense at all in such logos in my opinion

I think the objection was always centered around the name, more so than the logo. It's not a caricature like Chief Wahoo was for the Cleveland Indians, but rather a proud depiction of a Native American male. Perhaps there is room for some compromise around the logo, but the name is not coming back.

Yeah, I wont believe it until it actually happens. The organization should have made a deal with the Blackfoot tribe for use of the logo and tribal name, as per the Chicago Blackhawks and FSU Seminoles. When "racism" is defined purely by how things sound to those eager to be offended, just imagine the Washington Blackfeet taking the field!

Well done. Been a huge fan since 1972 and id be thrilled to see the logo come back!! I get the name, after losing it, is a bridge to far, but never understood losing the logo!! Lets GO!!
