I love those little guys, they do kinda like a real life fantasy creature, so it'd have fit so well in Pokémon.

The cut Mon at 14:19 reminds me of Elfilin from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The chameleons are cool, and I never would have expected a bowling pin penguin to go along with Spheal!

As a Flygon fan boy, its pre-evolution concept is awesome and cute.

Penguins also waddle walk which fits with how bowling pins wobble and fall. That bowling pin penguin is one of the most unassumingly genius 'mons that have ever went through the developers' minds, including 'mons that did make the games.

Those diving beetles were most likely repurposed into the Wimpod line. I was a big fan of the Unown golem and the fossil Cassowary line personally, they both looked awesome

I genuinly love the cassowary pokemon. It was fully done and the fact that it got cut is so sad. Really hope they bring it off the backburners for gen 10 (cope)

28:40 that fish is most likely based on a Remora, those fish that stick to other fish and whales since they also have those flat top heads and it might've been cut since its also what inspired remoraid or who knows i can kinda see this being an alternate evolution to Remoraid but i wonder why it was cut if so...

The flower pre evolution at 36:47 comes off to me as a Smoochum regional variant also that Jynx mega looks amazing, could have also worked as just an evolved form!
