Give Julie Andrews a lifetime achievement Tony Award! She's been overlooked for too long. She's a Broadway legend.

Julie Andrews is either the most gracious person on earth, or the best actress on earth. How does one light up as bright as the sun with sheer humility? Ms. Andrew does.

Nobody’s talking about Robert Goulet who was in Camelot with Julie in 1960 and sang that song to her in the show. She looked so moved.

I freaked over how insane Kristen was and didn’t think anyone would come close and then Audra said...yeah okay, watch this! Two absolute icons in their own right!

Julie sang for King George VI when she was just a little girl! And her entire life was on an upward trajectory since then. WOW, what an extraordinary life she has lead! She’s done things that most people can only dream about!

You've got Julie Andrews, Pavarotti, Nicholson, Quincy Jones & Blake Edwards (Andrew's husband) all up in that box. That's insane.

Watching this in 2024: Patrick Wilson
😮. What a voice!

She was rightfully awarded next to Pavarotti. Both in a class together and of their own when it comes to classically trained voices.

Kristen just made that performance look so easy. She’s such a freakin beast. She just BODIED that! I’m so ready for her tribute❤️

I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for Julie Andrews to hear these beautiful voices honoring her... singing the songs she sang... yet with the heartbreak of knowing her singing voice was no more. The last words of the song... "And I'll sing... once more." Yet....

I love how Jack handed her a tissue at the end

I love that Carol and Julie did these for each other's Kennedy Honors - what a friendship!

Unfortunately, there was not a single person in the entire world with as much talent as Julie Andrews to sing her songs.

The expression on Ms. Andrew's face when Ms. Burnett was singing. You could see how much their friendship means.

What a beautiful acknowledgement of Julie's amazing talent but also bittersweet. All those incredible songs and incredible singers and if it werent for a botched operation Julie could be on that stage matching each and everyone with her glorious four octave range. She lost so much but always so gracious and kind of spirit. True Legend.

The best part of this tribute is the pure joy and grace on Julie Andrews face. She is so full of love and light it just radiates off of her. In no other Kennedy Center Honors does an Honoree look as completely touched and delighted as Ms. Andrews does. A role model in every way.
