I got to sing at a restaurant opening here in West Hollywood many years ago. Phyllis Diller was at the table right in front of the mic and the song I sang was somewhat of a love song. I sang it directly to her because her face just beamed and was so loving and encouraging. When I left the stage and walked by her table she turned to block me and motion for me to bend down close to her ear and she whispered beautiful in my ear and I just hugged her and thanked her I will never forget that treasured moment!!!

Not only do I miss Diller but I miss the old days of these great entertainers who are no longer with us. They were the best there were. Those were the best times. Today can not compare to the talent that was someone like Phyllis Diller.
