I had a random encounter with Julie Andrews at CBS Television City. I was carrying a box containing gift bags for an awards show that was very large but not heavy at all down an elevator. The doors open and I had to maneuver a bit to make sure I wouldn't run into the door frame as I exited. I couldn't see around the box. I heard a woman say something like, "Oh, dear! Can I help you with that?!" and was honestly surprised to hear anyone offer to help (my coworkers didn't!), much less someone with an English accent. I said thank you, but I didn't need help, and as I passed her, I saw a kindly smiling Julie Andrews. I could not believe it.
