Can this also happen caused by a hamstring injury that sort of overstresses other muscles in the wrong way?

Could you please address, WHY does some pain become WORSE AT REST? I also would like to hear your thoughts on how MUSCLES that were injured years ago, can REMEMBER injuries from the past, and FLAIR UP (!?)

I have a stress fracture on the neck of the femur bone . I was not able to walk, now I can walk with limping.. less pain .. I feel some is pricking a needle in the glutes and have groin pain while walking or stretching.. how to start rehab .. glutes and hip area is weak too
