#13 This is hard for most people to swallow: Some states have sociopathic law enforcement

I didn’t know about that last one-how new is it and in which states?

Loud exhaust, heavy diesel soot, hazard lights on, wiper not in when raining, leaking fluids, being in a towed vehicle when prohibited i.e fifth wheel/travel trailer, road rage, dropped load or item fell off. Having a radar detector, extra dark window tint, obstructions in windshields like dash cams, engine tuners, back up cameras

How do open container laws apply to people not in the cab having a beer on the way to a tailgate? Or even at a campground. How is it legal for someone to sit in their vehicle and drink alcohol?

as an RV'r and a Cop, you are on the money, most RV's get pulled over for some unsafe act, we all want travelers to have a safe and fun experience, I've responded to several RV accidents and RV's are not as safe as a regular vehicle, so just stay safe enjoy the trip and make fun memories.

This is all common sense, but most people don’t have sense.

I made a comment about this video that I have since erased. My comment was insensitive and I upset the owner of this channel. So I’m taking this opportunity to apologize for my remarks and for making him so upset.

Yeah this is for ALL vehicles.... I would venture to say RV’s are less likely to be stopped.

Keep in mind an RV is like a big dollar sign coming down the road. Golden opportunity for small towns to target you with a ticket for the local coffers. Saw this recently in action in several small South Dakota towns where they sit in hiding and then hit you with radar if your over the limit which can be 25 mph in spots. Ironic, people constantly drive well over the limit on the Freeways and never get pulled over.

Hey Dr Dave, don’t you wish you had discovered this lifestyle when you were this young mans age. I appreciate your enthusiasm on this lifestyle. Keep the vids coming!

Drove a 18 for 39 years. Don’t tell-gate and watch your speed. RV trailer tires are rated for 65mph . Watch tire inflation

I love everytime you have a new video! I was having a hard day, w medicines n doctors right out of the hospital. U just dont know what a difference u make sometimes. Like once I went into my local Dollar General & there was a lady working there I wasn't familiar with. She was having the worst day n regretted driving for little money minus her wear n tear on her car n the gas..not worth it long term. However, it was not for nothing. I was not doing good n she was such a blessing to me. I was thankful for her because the regulars never would have been that patient at that time of the day and she was there the 1 time I needed extra help the most. Thank Goodness

Here is another 12:
#13 Don't dump your black tank while driving
#14 Don't drive naked.
#15 Don't go back to the fridge while driving
#16 Don't force other vehicles off the road with your beater RV
#17 Don't have sex while driving.
#18 Don't tie the kids to the roof.
#19 Don't treat other vehicles as clay pigeons with your new shotgun
#20 Don't drag race another RV when they pull up next to you at a stop light.
#21 Don't put the words "Breaking Bad R Us" on the back of the RV.
#22 Don't tie your mother in law to the front grill.
#23 Don't haul bales of Cannabis on the rear bumper storage.
#24 Don't boondock in the police station parking lot

Great points. I’m wondering if police in some states are looking for rigs that are over 26000 GVWR as in many states the driver is required to have a special license. I also heard that those who register their rigs in Montana to avoid sales tax could be in trouble if their drivers license is in another state that has sales tax. I’m not sure an officer could ticket them, but they may be required to pay the tax in their home state.
