Woah, some people need to calm down... Kim, I can see that you worked incredibly hard to make this video! Compiling all that footage must have taken ages. As someone who knows almost 0 about korea this is a great list to start someone off! I'm sure these are places that your viewers will love, of course! Thank you 😘

Hongdae, and Gangnam for food, drinks, and people.
Itaewon is the expat area (go on the Street behind the Hamilton Hotel) multinational food, drinks, shopping, people, and lots of English.
Myeong-dong and Dongdaemun for shopping and sightseeing.
Subway is super easy with colors and numbers. Taxis are cheaper than the US, Europe, or Japan.
Waze is good for navigation, Kakao is Hangouts/Skype/maps get it, and Google Translate is take picture functional for translation. Think menu.
Have fun and enjoy.

Stuff I really enjoyed doing in Seoul:

- booked a tour from Seoul to visit the DMZ
- stayed in a hanok where they gave you traditional breakfast and let you try on a hanbok
- lots of reasonably priced massage places
- watch buskers in Hongdae
- visit the Hongdae free market (lots of beautiful handmade stuff. I bought a keyring and a rabbit doll made from socks)
- enjoy the nightlife (pub, club, or just walking around the busy areas taking in the different atmosphere compared to daytime)
- I went to Silloam spa rather than Dragon Hill. Not sure if one is better than the other but I really liked that one and they have lots of different rooms of different temperatures/things in them (salt etc)
- Sanchon in Insadong does beautiful Korean food in a gorgeous building but it's vegetarian (I'm not vegetarian so doesn't matter for me. The food was delicious)

Lots and lots to do. You'll never be bored :)

I live in Korea and this is actually a good summary of what to eat and where to shop :) maybe you left out some more activities not related to shopping haha. Next time you come to Seoul go to explore 익선동 Ikseondong! It's the newest trendy place full of traditional houses with international restaurants and beautiful coffee shops :) I love it!

The spicy rice cakes are one of my favorites. Bukchon Village is a beautiful walk, although tiring as it is very hilly. North Seoul Tower is a must, as even the trip up the cable car and incline is fun. Korean fried chicken is the best on the planet! You missed two of my favorites. I love the dish called Jjimdok, and Korean professional baseball i s a must. They have the most energetic baseball culture I have ever seen. Games in Seoul are played at Jamsil Stadium in the 1988 Olympic Village near the Lotte Tower.

Dang I just paid $1.99 to stream some Korea travel videos on Amazon videos and this video was way better than any of them! You are awesome. Compressing incredible info into a short time instead of trying to drag it out

Hi Kimdao I just wanna say that I am your biggest fan and you are my inspiration, in all of my studies, cause right now it is hard to study because of this pandemic. I have been recommending your channel to my friends. My sister is already watching your videos. I wish that this channel will get more subscribers and many people will view your channel because this is a 5 stars video.
