How to Use Google Voice

Google Voice is a free service from Google that provides you with an additional phone number. You can use Google Voice for personal or business use.

Great tutorial! Is there a way of controlling the timing on how soon it goes to voice mail? Seems to be doing it within one or two rings. Too fast.

If you try to call from outside the USA to the USA You get charged your long distance rate- If somebody from the USA calls You when You are outside the USA it doesn't charge the Google Voice number owner

I am moving abroad and I understand that you need to port the number BEFORE YOU LEAVE the USA. However, I do not yet have phone service/number in the country that I will be moving to. How does one go about porting their number if they haven’t yet established a new number in the country abroad to connect it to?

Thanks for a great tutorial. I still have one question. When you make a call with Google Voice, I assume the person sees you Caller ID. Is this your phone number or does it include your name? If it shows a name, do you have control over what name it shows? Thanks in advance for answering my question

When someone calls the Google voice number does the verification number originally used have to be active or can calls be made over Wi-Fi and can I choose to not have the original verification phone number ring every time the Google voice number rings?

You’re some things if it says it’s not available in your country you have to be in the US second thing make sure you don’t have a VPN on because if you do then won’t think you’re in the US that’s a ti❤🎉😮
