Hi Mr. Campbell thank you for your excellent and clear tutorial on Google Voice. I installed Google Voice on my cell phone, selected a number from the list it provided and added my cell number, this is where it ended and unfortunately it did not come up with the menu you have in your tutorial to ask about international calls or other set up options. Would appreciate your advice.

Video is just one way, My phone is set up to make calls according to what app i have open. If I use the dialer that came with my cell phone it uses only that number like any normal cell, If I want to use voice I open the voice app and select text or phone and it uses only my google voice number. These two numbers are completely separate, however I can forward google calls to my cell number but I never do... I have been using Google voice for several years and make voice calls anywhere WiFi is available, which means 98% of my calls are through the Google app. So several years ago I moved to a pay as you go plan. I pay my cell phone service provider less than 30 bucks a year!

So if your using this for a business. Every time someone calls you they are going to get a voice message saying that google voice is going to try to connect you.

I can't get my current GV number to load in GV on my new android. I have Uninstalled / reinstalled GV and gone on the computer as well. I can't find a way to get my current GV number activated on my new phone so I have to choose the carrier with each call again.

Thank you for the video. The sound was fine on my end. I just wonder if there is a way to turn off google voice when office hours are closed? Also, I don't want to have to make a choice everytime I make a call out. Is there a way to always use cell number unless I Open google voice?

Can you set it to where it shows if the incoming call is from google voice or my personal number? That's the reason I got the app, but there's no way of telling untill I answer the phone call
