I love Whisper sync. I use it on my iPad mini everyday. There is something wonderful being able to switch from audio to written word and sometimes using both and having both simultaneously.

What I want to know is what I thought you were going to talk about from the title: to read and listen to a Kindle book using whispersync at the same time. I have dyslexia, and using my eyes to read *while* listening to the audio is the best way for me to be able to read. I do this "manually" by checking out paper books and CDs of books from the library, and listening and reading at the same time. But I'd like to be able to do it on Kindle so it could be done automatically, and I don't see it as an option.

theres noway i gotta buy both versions of the book to get whispersync. thats just stupid. i thought it would convert the book version via whispersync since i bought the audio book version and since its the same account i only have to buy it once. i havent found an app that has let me do that option for a cheap price instead of 15+ dollars i know books arent cheap but come on. sometimes its nice to want to read it while you listen.

Does WhisperSync allow for simultaneous listening AND reading? Considering getting this for my kids to help them with reading. Text to Speech sucks for this as the pauses and intonation don’t match up.

Hello, I wanted to ask if it’s possible to listen to an audiobook via Bluetooth while following the text of the book?

I have the kindle book and audible version and it says it includes Whispersync, but when I go to switch devices it just picks up where I was the last time I was on that device. It doesn't sync the progress between the two. So, it's not as straightforward as just purchasing them both and I was hoping that was going to be covered in this. 😕

I am in Canada and i heard about this a few months ago, although when got a kindle unlimied trial, and browsed around, both on amazon and on kindle, I couldn't figure out how to get Audible+Kindle synchronization... This feature would be amazing and i would love to utilize it.
