All modern controllers owe their designs to the Super Nintendo though for sure, that’s been the standard layout for everything since

Bumper buttons and analoges became the standard since PS1 and original Xbox not the PS3 and 360

Since the PS1* Dualshock was a game changer. I wouldn't expect DK oldies to know anything about gaming. Even the most common things like this.

the 360 controller never gets the recognition it deserves. it's literally the most perfected controller ever made in terms of ergonomics. only downside is really just the lack of rechargeable battery out of the box
