What an amazing artist I, struggled with a pill addiction for 12 years!! This song gave me the clean and sober since 2018

Tyler's voice made the hair stand up in the back of my neck. I stopped everything I was doing at the time. The best Kentucky wail I have heard in my life.

My daddy was a Pike County coal miner. Almost his exact advice to me, this song speaks to me in a way I can't really explain.

Lost my dad last year. Never got to see me get clean. This one cuts close to the vein.

My son sent me this song and i m a 50 year old welder that broke my back in 2004 and had to quit work and this song is like word for word what Ive told him his whole life because i used pain pills and alcohol to control the pain until my body was shot ! I'm from rural Tennessee in the blue ridge mountain chain and their is not much here !The song rings true and this guy had a good southern dad that loved him !Point im trying to make is listen to your dad he loves you and just wants a better life for you. This song made me cry and im not the crying type !But it made me so happy to know my son was listening to what i was telling him !

This makes me appreciate the wisdom my father taught me and regret all the times I neglected our relationship.

My father saw me get cleaned up and told me he was proud of the man I became. He passed two years ago and those words mean the world to me!

How some artists can sound better live than in their studio recordings is beyond me... this voice brings me to chills.

All of my family mined Pike County coal. I joined the Marine Corps to stay out of those mines. I’d rather get shot at! God bless our Coal Miners!

I'm 36 years old...been to prison...fought a coke addiction, Xanax addiction, pain pill addiction, meth addiction, ...been in trouble since I left home when I was young...and sitting where I sit today this song means alot to me...I promise it feels like this song was written for me...when he says "I can't catch a break.."...it's resonates so deep with how I feel inside...I always seem to find God in the strangest of places...feeling so alone in this world and I listen to those lyrics and I realize I'm not the only one that feels the way I do...such a awesome song

A lot of people assume that the blues is the only music that has soul in it. Well let me tell you, this touches my soul to it''s core.

This song shakes me to my core. I'm a recovering addict. When I get weak and want to score I listen to this and it straightens me out

When I was 20 years old, my father told me, "Life is not fair and you're nothing without a job". I'm 52 now but I still remember my dad's words of advice to me.
