The 5.7L V8 sounds amazing, but holy crap the blow off valve and turbo noise in this with my headphones on is absolutely insane especially for a stock pick up.

I am looking forward to your video of a Capstone or even a TRD Pro.

This Tundra is absolutely lovely. I love it; recently rented a Toyota Tundra not too long ago and I loved it so much. Essentially one of my favorite full-sized pickup trucks.

It’s a shame the 5.7L V8 isn’t offered anymore but for a gas engine of this size 11000 lbs of towing capacity is still pretty impressive

Now that’s a test drive, I love the color, you described and put the truck through its paces, you gave your opinions and the music was 2 thumbs. Subscribed!

Test drove one back to back with the ram, power felt great, rides well too, only complaint was wind noise at highway speed, some weird wind buffeting too.

I never thought in a million years I would say this, but god damn it this thing sounds good! Sounds like a v8!

the modernising of the truck is impressive...but comes with a massive sticker price..I still think I would rather buy an old Tundra with the V8. Less tech and easier/cheaper to maintain

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this model one of the new tundras that play simulated exhaust sounds through the cabin speakers? To simulate the low pitch of a v8

Chris, The greater capability of the TRD Off-Road package is a step up from the previous Tundra but you cannot get it with the utility of the 8 foot bed. This omission really undermines the weekend flexibility some might want from their work truck. The downsized interior is another mystery from the TNGA team.

Topher, what’s your take on so many manufacturers not offering black headliners . It drives me nuts !!

I'm surprised how good the clip of the sound system sounded. Hopefully it sounds that good in person when I get mine.

So happy they redesigned the rear bumper foot step

You should add a washboard road to your test loop to showcase how well the vehicle is bolted together, just a thought.

I picked up my red platinum a few days ago. First off I love it, still learning a lot about it - but I do have a few gripes with it. The heads up display even at max brightness is really dim with sun glasses on. Also, I don't think the wireless charger has picked up my iphone 13 pro max once. Even so, I love the truck and am happy I went with Toyota over the Ford Platinum.
