Recipe:
- Strawberry
- Sugar
- Water
- wooden sticks
- Bowl of ice water

- Boil water and sugar
- 2:1 ratio, e.g. 200g sugar to 100ml water
- at at least 150°C/300°F, a thick syrup is formed after approx. 5-10 minutes (depending on the quantity)
- To test, simply put a wooden stick in the syrup and then put it in the ice water, the syrup hardens immediately and you can start
- now turn all the fruit in the pan and then briefly put them in ice water (this way the whole thing hardens faster)
- you can do the whole thing without the ice water, I have found that it then sticks to the plate or needs a short exposure to air until it hardens
- To clean the pan, simply fill it with water at the end, boil it up briefly and then the remaining sugar will dissolve for cleaning Have fun :)
