If you apply Guess And Check to a question similar to number 18 57:50, it is always a good idea to start from the middle (Choice B or C). If you are long, you go down. And if you are short, you go up.

In this problem, if you start with Choice B, you get 1500. Since you are comparing it to 1440, you may think you are long and go down to Choice A. So it requires a little bit of common sense. You need more children (lower cost) to bring the total cost down. And you have to go up. Nonetheless, it wouldn’t hurt. Choice A would not work, and you have to get back to Choice C. There is a bit of penalty for spending a few seconds with Choice A.

It is also a good idea to keep your variables inside the parenthesis. That is where you key in your answer choices. If you are consistent with it, you will minimize clerical errors.

Hi at 33:30 question number 11, if instead of plugging values in, could we write the main equation given on the question into the demos and plot its graph, and then plot the graphs of all the other equations in the answer choices and looking at which of the graphs are same and match will give us the correct answer or no?
