I have two Muay Thai shorts, but I have never used either of them during training. I just use the normal gym shorts that are stretchy. I honestly dislike how Muay Thai shorts feel; they are made of polyester or satin and can feel off because of the lack of elasticity.

I also feel this way with modern Taekwondo uniforms. 15 years ago, Taekwondo uniforms were made of cotton, which made it feel soft and slightly stretchy, but now they're made of polyester and it feels like wearing a box.
