Reminds me of a danish song called "Jimmy og Maria" It's about two high school sweethearts. A regular girl and a some what of a rebel guy. They grow up together and eventually move in together, but Jimmy just can't stay out of trouble. Long story short, something goes wrong in something he had planned with someone, and he ends up in prison where he eventually gets stabbed and dies which breaks Maria's heart as she was also carrying his child
