Ring around the rosie -> Fire
Pocket full of poses-> literal poses/dances
Ashes, ashes -> Fire ashes
We all fall down -> falling to the ashes/jumping down the "portal"

That was my theory, it was a demonic ritual. Im a little stoopid 🤷

There is also tilli tilli bom which is about abduction. Story: a mother warns her child that a person outside the house kidnapped people who can't seem to sleep. When a bird makes a scream, the kidnapper is already at the victims door, and trespasses the house (I think) and their footsteps get closer and closer and closer until *"they catch you."*
So I think the moral is to lock your windows and doors lmao.

Tbh I already know this, hand the messed up part is, the doctors did nothing about it. At this point, they weren't even doctors. They couldn't find a cure, so let's say back in the day, your relative or loved one is sick, you get a doctor (the doctors durning the plaque had a mask that made them have a big beak, they were fully clothed, gloves and everything) the doctor checks the patient, and then they're like "oh yeah, your son definitely has the flu." and you just gotta accept that your son is gonna die- and also the song row row row your boat, I think it was when the great fire of London happened, some Londoners (yes, Londoners, don't ask) or the people that were able to escape the great fire of London, they got on these canoes, and durning the travel they were singing row row row your boat to lower their sanity. Here's what the lyrics mean:
Row row row your boat (they're leaving London, trying to get further away from the town, London was a town back then. Actually, I'm not so sure) gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily (they're trying to be more joyful, or idk) life is but a dream (I think they're trying to calm themselves down that this is a nightmare and its all a dream) then it repeats.

Fun fact. It was created long after the plague and may be partly based on it but during the plague you were not aloud to burn bodies. So it may be about the plague with minor historical mistakes. :)

actually this is luckily not true nobody who wrote this song ever mentioned that the song was about the plague it just has lyrics that reference the plague but in reality it does not mean about the plauge

I don’t think he mentioned the name but it was the Black Death. People thought the illness was spread from smells so they had “pockets full of posies”. For “ashes ashes we all fall down” that’s for them dying

Poket of posies means its a pocket full of flowers you usually bring to a funeral

Not only that but when they say:"ashes ashes" they're refering to the practice where people used to burn the bodies

This song was based off the Black Death, which was a infection by infected fleas or something like that.

This is abt the Black Death, obviously ‘ring around a Rosie pocket full of posie ‘was explained but the sneezing and ‘we all fall down’ is bc they got the disease and fell down as in the died
