Zoe! Reddit thread OP here, I was so surprised to see this video, but also thank you for the shout-out and, more importantly - understanding the point of that thread! The fact that you had to explain multiple times about why this could have been a disaster saddens me, because/and your comments section... well, some of the replies you're already getting are no surprise to me -- I got a few "cheaters should die" DMs, myself, at the tip of that iceberg, and am glad it's mostly over with.

But, as you said, there are hardcore players which could have hit the limit. And, honestly, which may still encounter the limit - spamming the same grunt took me 30 solid minutes after the limit was raised, so it's still there, but I lost count and considered -my- testing 'good enough' for the majority of players. Aaaand I really wanted to be done with the thread/harassment :'D. It's in the hands of the hardcore players/grinders now, and I hope Niantic isn't made to look stupid at the Worlds Championship if half their competitors are 7-day'd at some point during this event :'D.

Still, I know it's to combat bots, but Niantic could have handled (and still could handle!) the limit much better than a 7-day(+) ban. Pokestop Spin Limits/Catch Limits just prevent you from doing it until the game goes "oh, okay, you've waited long enough now" and lets you go back to it. Why shouldn't Shadows be the same way?

There was also a bug where if you were wearing professor willows boots no spawns would be seen, the map wouldn’t load anything. For wearing boots that you paid for you couldn’t play the game until you logged in on an older version or another device and changed your outfit!

I feel like there have been new bans we don’t know about. I’m a legitimate player and just got a 7 days ban last week and still don’t know what triggered it so I’m in constant fear of getting banned again. Niantic should be more clear on the reason why they are placing bans on the accounts but they prefer to reserve it to themselves.

for everyone who forgets, this is why 10am rocket events have old leader lineups at stops as opposed to the balloon. rocket leaders are determined at stops at 6am, where they stay as is until 10pm that day, when only grunts are at stops

and i saw that shiny shadow trapinch, there is nothing purple/magenta about any of those shinies. you’re free to chase whatever

Hey Zoe, I grew up on Oahu, here’s a few recs:
-get a plate lunch from Kanekes in waimanalo, especially the mochiko chicken
-shave ice at matsumotos
-malasadas from Leonard’s are pretty good
-sunrise hike at koko crater (not easy, many stairs, you’ve been warned)
-poke from Fresh Catch, real Hawaii poke is very special
-driving kalanianiole highway is very scenic, and along the way there is the nice makapu’u lighthouse hike and amazing snorkeling at hanauma bay
-for fruit, there’s great papaya in Hawaii as well as something called an apple banana which is a smaller, sweeter banana
-you have to eat a spam musubi

The new event came out. I was battling against my first Arlo in the new event and I got a shiny shadow Anorith. It was crazy. I also got a shiny anorith from research.

Additionally, adventure week is totally p2w. Only Pokemon from eggs have an increased chance of getting shiny... you can also get tasks with these Pokemon, but they are tasks like hatch an egg or walk 2km.

I was banned 5 minutes ago. I clicked on about 120 grunts but only fought against 36 because I'm only after the 3 new crypto.

They fixed it a while back events used to start at 10am but since they began starting at midnight you get the new mons right away from stops

Please make an updated video Zoe. They reversed their decison, doubled down by lowering the pokestop spin limit to 60, and are now telling anyone who complains about their ban: "too bad".

We can't spin more than 60 stops during rocket takeover, which they definitely _coincidentally_ combined with adventure week's pokestop spin xp multiplier. /s

Why don't they actually hire/have people (like these) testing things for them? Absolutely ridiculous. Make sure you play because inactivity can get you banned, but don't play too much . . . or you could also get banned. Niantic should have a list of limits? Or the least they could do is email you WHY you're banned.THANK YOU SO MUCH, ZOE! Always be suspicious!
