The clone troopers had their DNA altered so that they could grow to full adulthood within just 9 years. While quite beneficial for the cloners and the republic, these young boys were robbed of their lifespan. We take a look at how the clones dealt with their dark fate.

Seeing old Hunter on Pabu was an eye opener. He Wrecker, Crosshairs got a taste of peaceful retirement. But the rest of the millions of clone s were not as lucky.

Clones weren't supposed to have a personnal life. It never occured to their designers that they would have a social bond with their unit, or even beyond.

It’s a good thing that there’s no Clone Trooper Human Resources. The odds of getting a complaint through would be like navigating through an asteroid belt

As said in the bad batch, "It's not a scenario we're trained to think about". As a clone, raised with other clones, your aging is normal. You never known otherwise. Besides, you consider yourself lucky to live through your campaign.

In the Republic Commando books, they were trying to figure out a way to slow it down or stop it, so I imagine they hated it.

I’m really glad that you brought up the Republic commandos specifically for this video because it has struck me recently that they might be a lot more fascinating to explore than we think. Given that a show like The Bad Batch brought them into the plot that’s almost what I would want the next animated show to explore. A tale of republic commandos during the war doing things that most other clones don’t do and living with that. I read Hard Contact last year for the first time and I see where you were going with that.

Hey, Alan, just wanted to say thank you for all the work. Disney's Star Wars productions have been so disappointing to me overall that I was losing my love for the universe, but your videos, along with Geetsly, eckhartsladder, spacedock and metanerdz have inspired me to write a Star Wars fanfic in the hopes of exploring the world as canonically as possible while still producing a better story than Disney.

It's about two imperial officers serving aboard a Cantwell-class arrestor cruiser during the time of the galactic civil war, around the destruction of Alderaan. One lieutenant is gripped with guilt and during a cleanup of a recently discovered clone wars era fleet of CIS ships that got lost as they were in transit when the shutdown command was issued, the lieutenant uses the droid brain on a Munificent to hijack the ship and flee. In order to avoid a blemish on his service record, the commodore of the task fleet sends our a recently promoted captain to hunt down the ship and the defector. Along the way, the Lieutenant becomes part of an Alderaanian refugee fleet as a protector, while the captain on her search and retrieve mission is now confronted ever more with the Empire's true oppresive nature and has to wrestle with loyalty to the empire and her own moral compass.

I loved exploring the world, designing the fleets, examining the resources and economies, as well as the legal system of empire to form my story's setting. And your videos have helped me with that so, so much. I know no one will ever read my stories (because I don't put them online), but that's not the point. It's about the love of the universe and the potential it holds. I rekindled my love because of you and YouTubers like you, and that was no easy feat. So, thank you.

I'm now writing a "sequal" about how the new Alderaanian homeworld gets embroiled in a defensive war against the Zygerrian empire which is using the power vacuum of fall of the galactic empire to expand in its neighboring systems during the warlord era. Due to the New Republic being embroiled with state building, the war with the imperial remnant, and the corrupt empire legacy-senators, the Outer Rim planets largely have to suffice with minimal material support from Corusant. The war is essentially a trilogy with the first part being the initial defense of New Alderaan during the intitial stages of Zygerrian expansion. The second part revolves around the political dance of alliance building with neighbouring systems that were also invaded and negotiating with Corusant for bigger weapon deliveries. And part three will be the invasion of Zygerrian space. I already have the red lines planned out, so I'm writing out the details.
