The COMPLICATED End of Teen Titans

Teen Titans is one of the most beloved cartoon shows out there, having some of the best action as well as some of the most well written and developed characters fleshed out and showcased on TV at the time. It also very much holds up watching it today. Last time in part one we took a look at the rise of Teen Titans, getting a chance to meet all of the characters and wrap up a major story arc that would then leave us with the rest of the seasons that took that same formula and tried expanded on it in every way. Let's take a look at the complicated end of Teen Titans.

I know it’s not much, but I always loved the scene in static shock where he met Batman. Static asks where robin was and Batman says “he’s with the titans know”. As they were both airing around the same time. I think things like that really helped give the illusion that yes, they are all in the same shared universe. Even that slight respect or reference goes a long way.

The part where the Titans' reaction on Starfire and Silky eating that goop at the end of "Can I Keep Him?" got me laughing. _Teen Titans_ isn't afraid of having off-the-wall humor that balances the dark action-pack tone.

I was SHOCKED when you released your love letter to Hey Arnold (still my favorite YouTube video of all time, just rewatched over the last 2 days!) and it was 7 hours long. Now, we have another video from you that is over 10 HOURS?! You truly amaze me, Jordan, and are a dedicated creator. I love it, and cannot wait to watch this one, man!

The ending of the show will always crush me. That was such a tough ending to watch as a kid. I would have loved for it to end on a more positive note. The series, as a whole, was amazing and so well done, BUT, I think the ending just wasn't right. I get the depth of it, that Tera wasn't meant to be a Titan and felt like she never fit in with them, and deserved to live a normal life. I just don't think that was the right way to end it; with a heartbroken Beast Boy

Here's my opinion on the ending: it wraps everything up nicely, almost all of the store lines throughout the series are resolved, but it still feels like there is more for the Titans to do. the show ended but we can imagine and dream more adventures for them. They don't go there separate ways in the end, they are still a team, they will continue to have these adventures.
