I feel like they are 1 troop away from being an actual complete enemy type. Like they have 2 miniboss types, and 4 (really 3 since the psions are the same) fodder troops. They need a equivalent

Lore in the new dungeon armor confirms that the husks are reshaped fallen

I believe there are some lore tabs where Tormentors were to be clones of Nezarec, but i forgot all information about it..
Even so, if Tormentors are clones of Nezarec, it makes sense for Subjugators to be clones of Rhulk.. At least for me

The fact that subjugators and tormentors are (most likely) from some of the most interesting raid bosses is just such a cool fact

The grim are actually of the witness's own race, the precursors that defied or more specifically refused to cojoin with them.

sundered doctrine was such a huge lore drop on the dread. never expected the husks to be fallen and the grim being the witness' own species

The Dread are a huge W. Easily the most interesting faction to fight. Especially Tormentors. Even as powerful as we’ve gotten, a boss Tormentor in high level content can EASILY wipe a Fireteam. They command respect when they show up on the battlefield and require a slightly unorthodox damage strategy for a normal unit. They are the best enemy unit in the game imo.

The husks are reshaped fallen. In the lore it was said that a follower of the witness that was fallen wanted the power promised by eramis. But came to the witness for it. The witness used its form as a blue print for the husk.

Crazy that the only reason they created weavers was to disrupt the plate mechanic in salvation’s edge.
It was exactly why they turned off coalition damage for root, because they couldn’t design jump pads in time.

I think the grim original species is the (probably going to spell this wrong) Shia lebef which were also affiliated with ravens I believe

Nezerec and Rhulk once had Races of their own I believe, so by extension you could say their clones or lesser counterparts are their species

Well one thing that I remember is when they first introduced the tormentors. I can't remember exactly who said it but I do remember that they said that they were the result of calluses partnership with the witness. Saying it out loud makes me realize that the witness could have just assigned them to his command, but I always just assumed that they were reshaped cabal.

Its VERY likely that at the very least subjucators are mad ein rhulks image, since rhulk himself is known as "The Subjugator" and the very similar near 1:1 look and even fighting style seem to confirm that
