On Offense. Getting Perdomo back was the biggest.
On Defense. Ryne Nelson learned shaping and understanding the Roger Beshens Football Slider. Brent Strom invited Roger Beshens in the Dbacks Clubhouse May 23 he was there 10-11 am while Cecconi was packing for Reno. Roger showed Brent Strom a certain technique to his football slider, something missed when they talked in March of 2024. Roger told Strom the blueprint the elite teams have is get pitchers that throw the RB Football Slider. Tanner Scott was the best one but they went out and got PUK and Floro who throw the RB Football Slider. Puk much more devastating than Floro.
Tommy Henry right now is in Reno striking out like 9 guys a game throwing that RB Football Slider, He realizes he should have thrown it when here with the big club. Walston is also going to throw more RB Football Sliders than the cutter.
Lovullo now knows the Blueprint, teach the Roger Beshens Football Slider to ALL the pitchers at every level and that will help elevate their pitching to elite status.

Brent Strom invited Roger Beshens May 23, 2024 into the Diamondacks Clubhouse to get more info from Roger about the Football Slider. Roger also showed Strom in person on March 4 at Camelback ranch vs White Sox after that game. Before the game Strom told Roger to come on the field by the bullpen, he pulled up two chairs sat down and asked Roger, Okay let's hear it, show me the football slider. Pfaadt walked right by them but didn't listen in.
That RB Football slider is a must for the dbacks and all the elite teams. That's why they went out and got PUK, they wanted Tanner Scott more but both throw the RB Football Slider. The dbacks will run into some elite RB football slider guys like Michael King, Musgrove, Cease, Glasnow, Flaherty, Robbie Ray.... Whatever team throw it the best wins the game and also the World Series. This has been going on for over 5 years now.

This streak wouldn't have happened without Pfaadt learning the sinker and the adjustments he made with it.
This streak wouldn't have happened if Ryne Nelson didn't learn shaping and how to manage the Roger Beshens football slider. Ryne Nelson in the Nationals game lowered his left leg more than in his wind up and that adjusment is going to make him elite. He didn't do it the next game vs Pitt which was not smart, but he did in the 5th inning vs Phillies and threw 99 mph the rest 98 mph, just as important his RB Football Slider was elite to Castillanos.
Yes, I was in the Dbacks clubhouse May 23 2024 showing Strom a my football slider. Did you notice that sinker Pfaadt throws, that he didn't throw last year. If Pfaadt knew it last year he would have thrown it. I'm behind teaching that sinker, I taught that sinker in 2018 with my football slider and here's proof. Patient hitters and defense. Why are we talking about losing to Boston? We have a huge chance of winning the series against Tampa, Miami and Boston. The Dodgers and Padres are the most threatening series. Giants maybe.
