That’s worth a sub! Thanks I know for a lot of players things like this will seem obvious but when your totally new to Souls games there is a massive learning curve to Elden Ring! Please make more guides like this pointing out the obvious!

Dude, 0:43, what did you press to cast the spell, that's why I came here, screaming at my monitor as you comment about us not having the intelligence to figure out how to use things? :)
[EDIT: I'm on PC so it's probably bugged as I'm pressing USE but it's not firing off, sorry omitted in my haste.]

Lvl 64 just learned this thanks so much. Was doing a strength build till I saw the spells now I’m doing strength / faith. Loving this game so much

Seals are for incantation while staffs are for spells. Can't use spells with finger seals and vice versa.

Most incantations scale with faith while spells scale with int. As such, seals mostly scale with faith and staffs scale with int.

Can't use one for the other.

Ohh thank you! I just pumped 5 levels into faith and it was grayed out. I was like wtf did I just wreck my build

wtf i have the correct stat levels to use one and I bought the finger spell but its still greyed out and can't cast it

I have the finger seal in my left hand and I meet the requirements for glint blade but it’s still grayed out, any help?
