I think, I will wait until they release a better sensor for the 360 mod.
The one R sensor is exactly the same as One X. Anyone who already has a One X won't find any noticeable difference in quality of the footage.

Good short overview. You should note that there is a usb-c to 3.5mm jack adapter that allows for the use of microphones.

Insta360 sells a usb-c to aux converter to use an external mic. It's not ideal but still possible!

I get SO nervous when I put a Camera on my car, too....so, I have started tying a piece of strong fishing line from the Cam to part of the car, so if the suction cup releases, It will save the camera....the line has to be fairly short, so the cam won't hit the ground....makes me worry a LOT am going to create some kind of rig using a piece of nylon cord to use in pace of the fishing line....

It's not recommended to charge and record at the same time. It gets super hot. Also it is possible to purchase a usb-c to 3.5mm jack for external recording it's around 10-15 USD

I have a galaxy note10+ 256gb and 2 insta360 one r cameras. They worked great up until the recent update that let the cameras connect live. Now I can no longer download video from the camera to the phone. I can only edit video on the camera which sucks. Anyone else having similar issues
