Thank you addressing that they are comparing studies that are unequal in data measures. Yes there will be a lower outbreak in raw but it’s illegal in many states and has a far lower consumption rate so she is comparing unequal data. I swear, when are people going to stop with the pseudo science and misrepresenting information as fact. Thank you for doing this!

We depend so much on the government agencies to look after our safety. Project 25, put out by the Heritage Foundation, declares their intention of allowing presidents to replace all of our government agencies with new hires, the idea being loyalty to the president rather than loyalty to science and safety. The Supreme Court has just ruled against the original Chevron decision which said that judges must defer to a government agency’s interpretation of a law or statute when the language was specific to their expertise.

I’d like to know if there’s much difference between organic milk and regular milk. Many YouTubers claim that organic milk doesn’t have all the hormones that regular milk has in it. That’s it’s healthier because it doesn’t have hormones. Is this true or is it just another “organic fear mongering type of claim”

Diary of a CEO just did an interview with a man saying all dairy that isn’t A2 is bad. He said to only drink from certain cow breeds, goats, etc. Is there any truth to that? I always drink fair life and eat cheese and yogurt and am nervous now

Far better to look for a local dairy that does low-temperature (with longer holding time) pasteurization if you want to avoid high temperature-flash pasteurization used on industrial processed milk. The high temp can impact flavor and suitability for cheese making. Not to mention industrial milk is also separated completely and then reconstituted at the various milk fat percentages for the various products. At a small low-temp dairy you mostly get cream-top milk after they take off what cream they can.

Read chapter 4 of 'Creamery-Butter Making', John Michels, (1909) for a good exposition on the bacteria, fermentations and contaminants of a milk that had to be watched for before modern dairy production. I found the book at the Internet Archive

So if one is getting raw milk (because it's cheaper), is boiling it enough? Have to pay attention to the source of cross contamination for sure.
