All I see is a big man enjoying the fk out of his jacket. Good on you mate; love the jacket and the fit.

You can just cuff the sleeve to expose the corduroy - that way the sleeve length would be perfect.

From official Barbour site: The sleeves on the Ashby jacket are slightly longer than other jackets to allow the sleeve to be worn upturned, if required.

A Bedale would be an ideal fitting for you in my opinion. Just my two cents.

The range of Barbours is phenomenal.
But heres something about a wax jacket that no one likes to talk about.
Once wet after been caught in a downpour for 90 minutes the drying time is bonkers .
Stuck on a cloths horse in front of a dehumidifier the jacket will take around 16 hours to be bone dry.
Still a good jacket thought .
Ive had 2 dukes and one race parka either new without tags or worn a couple of times and got around 30%to 50% off the new price.
Once ive has enough i stick them on ebay and resell them .

The worst choice of all among the Barbour waxed jackets ! The Ashby is nothing more than a slim fit Bedale, which makes it less comfortable, and the inner of the sleeves is made with a synthetic fabric, when the original Bedale sleeves are made with a cotton fabric. All these details can really make you sweat like a pig... I have Bedales, but I will NEVER buy an Ashby. For me, the best of all Barbours is without a doubt the Moorland, longer and much more practical with more pockets, and shorter than the Northumbria. Even if I also love the Solway, the most elegant of all Barbours. But please, forget the Ashby ! I still wonder what the guys who made it smoked or drank that day...
