Helpful, but it depends on what hdd you're trying to reuse.. Sometimes the enclosure case may cost more than a new same memory hdd

You do not need an enclosure. Just an adapter that plugs right in to the hard drive and they work on several sizes.

I didn't know that you had computer tech skills Mr. Uber HInts. I used to repair laptops at my old job in California in the late 90's.
But they are a lot harder to work on now a days, the parts are smaller, more complex, etc.

Q you took the drive from a laptop and that in turn would of been a C drive but on your PC its now a E drive ?
